Test report

NodeWave runs on very different phones and every one has its own Bluetooth and Wi-Fi quirks. Work through the tests you can (nobody does them all), mark what happened, add the numbers asked for, and send the report. Most tests need two phones; a few need three. Your answers are saved in this browser as you go.

5 · The tests

For each test choose Pass, Partial, Fail or Not tested. Leave a test blank if you skipped it. Add numbers where asked, and a few words on anything odd, especially for a failure: what you did, what you saw.

Logs help a lot with failures. On a computer with the phone connected: adb logcat -d -s MESH_RADIO > nodewave-log.txt, then attach the file to the email that opens when you press Send.

7 · Send

I agree that the information in this report (including the device details above) is sent to the NodeWave project at testreport@nodewave.org, and may be quoted anonymously in public notes. I know nothing leaves my browser until I press Send.

This site has no server: Send by email opens your email app with the report already written, addressed to testreport@nodewave.org, and you press send there. If it does not open, use Copy report or Download and email it yourself.
